Like most parents I delight in the creative directors little voice and each new word or phrase. I also delight in her independence and desire to play imaginatively on her own...and together these two delights have proven comical this week.

After breakfast she announced "you sewing teepee mama" as my porridge feeding duties were over and my general services were no longer required (at least until she grew bored or needed a fruit bar).

Dutifully I got to work on the latest teepee. A Robot and Car styled tic tac toe game with spanners and cogs as game pieces instead of the traditional naughts and crosses.
